We chose to visit Coba because it was less crowded than many of the other ruins but it also has the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan. The city was populated over 50,000 in it's prime, around A.D 500. It took a while to walk around the ruins but the kids had a great time climbing on everything. The third photo is the second tallest pyramid on the site, La Iglesia. The fourth photo was a watchtower.
