Day 5 (continued) - Cenote Snorkling

The cenotes were the highlight of the trip.  From the photos you can only see a small portion of the stalactites.  We swam through a little tunnel into a large cavern with big stalactites as well as lots of small ones bunched together.  We could also see tree roots coming down from the ceiling in search of water and once the roots touch the water they stop growing.  The water from the cenote comes from an underground river.
